As a young civil engineer from Université Libre de Bruxelles with specialisation in electronics, Charles Beumier joined the Royal Military Academy in Bruxelles for research in image processing and has been working in the fields of Face Recognition (PhD in 3D Face Recognition), Humanitarian Demining, Remote Sensing and Tracking in aerial video.
Recently he joined the Cyber Defence Lab in the same academy for a project about security in the telecommunication network. The objective is to detect anomalies in MAP messages of the SS7 stack of signalling protocols used for 2G and 3G.
