2024 in numbers
Happy New Year 2025!
As we embark on a new year filled with opportunities and challenges, let me take a moment to summarize our achievements of the past year with a few numbers.
Research
Regarding our research activities:
- we have worked on 13 funded research projects
- we have published 6 conference and journal papers and
- 5 technical reports
Education
For our teaching activities:
- we have taught 9 academic courses, at the Royal Military Academy (RMA) and at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB);
We have also supervised:
- 1 PhD student;
- 2 master thesis students and;
- 6 internships.
Website
For our website, we have written 64 new blog posts, which have generated a little more than 400.000 views.
Also, our most viewed blog posts in 2024 were:

Events
Finally, we have organized or participated in different events, including:
- the cyber awareness game organized during the open day of the Royal Military Academy
- the cybersecurity challenge coaching sessions
- the challenge TAM organized during the European Cyber Week
- the NATO winter meeting “Visual Analytics for Complex System”
